Suncor Energy Foundation Contribution
Sally Grant presents a cheque to David Young, CEO Sources, on behalf of The Suncor Energy Foundation, which is a private, non-profit, charitable foundation established by Suncor Energy Inc. in 1998 to receive Suncor’s contributions and support registered Canadian charitable organizations.
The Foundation invests in initiatives that meet the requirements as registered charitable organizations for Canadian tax purposes and align with the company’s funding priorities.

The Foundation’s funding priorities, include:

Since its inception in 1998, the Foundation has invested more than $84 million in charitable organizations across Canada.
The cheque is for the amount of $750.00 and goes to Dolly Parton’s The Imagination Library, administered by The Kiwanis Club of White Rock and South Surrey.
As a retiree of Suncor, Sally is being recognized for volunteering with The Imagination Library. This is the second annual award for The Imagination Library because of Sally’s efforts.
Sources was instrumental in bringing The Imagination Library to South Surrey and White Rock and continues to be a firm supporter.
