Coldest Night of Year 2020
It’s cold out there. The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community. Volunteer with us on February 22, 2020!
Sources is hosting our 7th annual Coldest Night of the Year in White Rock on February 22nd, 2020. This event is a fun and family-friendly 2, 5 and 10 km winter walk that happens in more than 100 communities across Canada on the same day. It allows participants the opportunity to experience a hint of the challenges faced by homeless people during cold Canadian nights in the dead of winter.
Our goal this year is to fundraise $100,000 for our Homelessness Prevention Services and Rent Bank while walking along White Rock’s renown promenade.
Volunteers are needed!
With the support of volunteers, walkers, sponsors, friends, family and passer-byes, we SMASHED our fundraising goal last year raising over $100,000 to rank among the top 10 communities in Canada.
We are looking for more than 60 volunteers to help with route marshalling, welcoming, registration, and cheering people on to go beyond our fundraising goal once again.
Please check here to learn more about the event or to VOLUNTEER/WALK/DONATE. See you at the finish line! ❄️
