Fee for service Trauma Counselling at Women’s Place

For those that have the ability to pay for counselling support services, Sources Women’s Place provides fee for service counselling to women and men. 

Our Registered Clinical Counsellors have Master’s degree training and specialize in trauma counselling. We see women as young as 16 years of age and over.

We offer fee for service individual counselling for:

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Depression
  • Historical physical and/or sexual abuse
  • Sexual violence and assaults
  • Current or historic interpersonal violence
  • LGBTQ interpersonal violence
  • Post-traumatic stress (PTSD)

The program provides fee for service counselling starting at $130.00 per hour based on ability to pay. Individual may apply for sliding scale fees and these are assessed on a case by case basis. The fee range can be discussed with your individual counsellor. Some Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) offer coverage and support. There are other specialized funding programs that can be accessed as well including the Crime Victim’s Assistance Program (CVAP), WorkBC programs, and others. Please discuss these possibilities at intake with your counsellor.
