Position: Foot Care Nurse – Casual Status
Location: Cornerstone Care – Langley BC
Hours: Will be responsible for self-scheduling appointments based on client requests. Will also be called upon to assist Nursing Supervisor as needed.
We are looking for a Licensed Foot Care Nurse Aide to join our Sources Cornerstone Care team! This position provides casual in-home foot care services to clients in our community, serving Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Aldergrove and Abbotsford. The Foot Care Nurse will also provide back-up support to the Nursing Supervisor as needed. The successful candidate should be compassionate, patient, and have strong communication skills.

Sources Cornerstone Care
Sources Cornerstone Care provides services that help promote independence and quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others who need home support services such as personal care, assistance with medications, overnight care, palliative care, foot care, meal planning, and general house cleaning. The Sources Cornerstone Care team is a passionate group of individuals who work to improve the quality of life of seniors and others in our community.
Responsibilities:
- · Provide assessments, and advice for clients
- Manage and conduct all aspects of foot care visits with quality care standards of practice
Communicate with supervisor and Health Care team members regarding changes or concerns related to client
Documentation regarding client activities, progress, and treatment plans
Adhere to the policies to ensure client/family privacy and confidentiality
Give guidance to client when taking care of feet at client’s home or in salon
Have tools sanitized and set up in a professional manner
Must have excellent verbal and written skills
Qualifications: - Be a registered member in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
Advanced Foot Care Certification
Knowledge of conditions affecting foot health, including diabetes
Valid drivers license; Must have own vehicle
Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector will be done
Start Date: As soon as possible
