Position: Café Associate – Part-time casual

Location:  Sources Connections Café – 14601 20th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., V4A 9P5

Hours: 16 -24 hours

We are looking for a part time associate to join our Sources Café team! This individual must have a positive attitude, confidence, flexibility, a team player, a passion for food – and of course a love of coffee.

About Sources

Sources is a community-based non-profit organization that has been providing help, encouragement, and hope for individuals and families in White Rock, Surrey, Delta, Langley, and Prince George for 40 years. We serve 40,000 individuals yearly and that is all owing to our dedicated team. We provide services such as food banks, counselling, employment services, and community living programs. At Sources we value respect and collaboration as we are all striving to promote the same mission—social wellness for our community.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Create a selection of food items from given recipes
• ·         Exceed our customer’s expectations in  food and beverage service and preparation
• ·         Maintain a clean and welcoming environment
• ·         Handle cash register and a variety of payment options
• ·         Assist with external catering opportunities and event

Qualifications:

• ·         Previous experience
• ·         Available to work day, weekend and holiday shifts
• ·         Food Safe Certification is an asset

Start Date: As soon as possible
