Sources Family Services offers Circle of Security Parenting Series

Sources Child and Family Services will be starting a new session of the Circle of Security Parenting Series. This 8-week program will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Sources Peace Arch Resource Centre (882 Maple Street, White Rock).

The Circle of Security Parenting program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.

The learning objectives of the training are:

  • Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs
  • Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
  • Enhance the development of your child’s self esteem
  • Honour your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure.

To register for this program, referrals are accepted via self-referral, Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) , and Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD).

Sessions are held throughout the year and registration is ongoing.
