SURREY AND WHITE ROCK, B. C. – February 25, 2024 – This past Saturday, White Rock/South Surrey ranked number one among 190 locations in Canada, raising over $270, 000 for Sources Foundation’s Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY). Held at Memorial Park, White Rock, the event attracted over 550 walkers across age groups, cultures and backgrounds. Present at the venue was Sources Outreach Van, purchased with the funds raised in 2023 for transporting people to warming centres and service hubs.

SURREY, B. C. – November 6, 2023 – Sources Foundation raised over $400, 000 at their annual charity gala, Mystery on the Nile. The fundraiser, co-presented by Save-On-Foods and Scotiabank, took place on November 4 at Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club. Proceeds from the event will be directed to Sources Community Living programs, food banks and youth counselling program – DiscoverY.

White Rock and Surrey, B. C. (March 31, 2022) – Today marks the last day of the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) national walk campaign, an initiative that gets people out walking for a cause that matters to them in their local community. Among these fundraising efforts, SOURCES attracted 454 people to walk for their Homeless Prevention and Rent Bank services, which directly benefits those living in White Rock and South Surrey.

We’re thrilled to be the charity of choice for Fuel Good Day 2020! On September 15, fuel up at the Prince George Co-op Gas Bar and $0. 10 per litre will be given back to our organization for those in need. Need a coffee or a slushy? We’ ll get $1 each from those, too. Don’ t forget to head inside for store specials that will also give us $1 back as well.

For the past 31 years, the Semiahmoo Rotary Charity Golf Tournament has raised more than $1. 4 million to fund many community projects. Normally held in June, this year’s golf tournament has been postponed until Tuesday, September 08 and modified for Covid-19 safety. “Although this event was at risk of being cancelled earlier this year, the incredible news is that it’s now sold out with 144 golfers attending and, for the first time ever, there are two ways in which members of the public can participate and support their community at the same time, ” explains David Young, CEO of SOURCES.
