Our Services

Family Services provides family-centered support to children, youth, and caregivers. We partner with families, extended family, and community supports to build on strengths, enhance protective factors, and promote child safety and well-being. Our work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in collaboration, with focus on supporting children to remain safely connected to their families, communities, and cultures whenever possible, and supporting safe and timely reunification when children are living outside the home.

Our Family Services are located in South Surrey and White Rock and include:

  • Family Support: Family Support provides outreach services to families following an assessment by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) that identifies a need for additional support based on your unique needs. Family Support focuses on strengthening caregiver capacity, enhancing protective factors, and promoting child and family well-being through a collaborative and family-centered approach.
  • Individual & Family Therapy: Our Family Therapists offer specialized clinical services to children, youth, and families, including individual, family, relationship, and child-focused therapy. Grounded in an attachment-based approach, therapy strengthens relationships by fostering empathy, mindfulness, and self-awareness, while supporting individuals to recognize and build on their own strengths. There is also the option for attending group.
  • Visitation and Access: A safe and supportive environment for caregiver–child visits and offer guidance to strengthen caregiving skills, to maintain connections and support the safe return of children to their families whenever possible.
  • Children & Youth: Outreach services within the school and community where there is additional support needed by our community partners. This can take the form of providing individual support at school, in the community and at home. Services can be provided to children and the family directly. There is also the option for attending group.

Referrals are through Ministry for Child and Family Development (MCFD) & Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) only.
