Sources Food Bank – Langley
This program is continuing to operate with regular days/hours for distribution and donations.
Starting August 17, distribution will be Wednesdays (10am-6pm) and Thursdays (10am-2pm).
As part of our efforts to fight COVID-19 and maintain the health, safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers, clients and community:
– We ask that people line up two metres apart
– Food items will be pre-bagged and larger amounts than normal
– We will be distributing through the door (no entering the building)
***If you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and ask a family member to COME INSTEAD.***
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Learn more about SOURCES’ response here.
The Sources Langley Food Bank is a member of Food Banks BC and Food Banks Canada, providing community members in need of a minimum of two days worth of food per person per week. Formula and diapers are provided for babies.
An advocate is on-site twice a month to provide assistance with income assistance, disability, tenancy and housing as well as other income support issues.
Individuals and families who live on a low income in the Langley area (0 Ave. to the Fraser River, east of 196th St. and west of 276th St.) are eligible to receive food bank services.
