Sources Food Bank – Langley

Our Services

As a member of Food Banks BC and Food Banks Canada, the Sources Langley Food Bank works directly with the Langley communities to address food insecurity.  Serving approximately 1000 people each week, we provide a minimum of 4 days worth of food per person, bi-weekly, focusing on foods that meet dietary and cultural needs.

School-aged children are provided extra health food items during the school year, and formula and diapers are provided for babies.

We operate a Mobile Food Bank for those unable to attend the Food Bank in person.  Please contact us directly for more information.

Individuals and families who live on a low income in the Langley area (0 Ave. to the Fraser River, east of 196th St. and west of 276th St.) are eligible to receive food bank services.

How to Register

All adults (19+) must register in person during distribution hours with the following information:

• Photo I.D. (e.g. BCID, driver’s license, passport, student I.D.)
• Proof of address (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)
• Proof of dependants (e.g. health card or custody papers)

Note: Above are regular client distribution hours only.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing time.

Donations can be made on-site Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As a recognized food bank with Food Banks Canada, we do not solicit donations door-to-door.

Sources Langley Food Bank is driven by a desire to ensure that no one slips through the cracks and that support is available within our community.  We believe in the unique role of non-profits in contributing to the well-being of the community and in adding value to the lives of the people we serve.
