Our Services

Sources Oceanside Resource Centre provides youth services to the community of Oceanside to support young people (13-18) working through the challenges of adolescence including managing the impact of negative experiences in their lives, learning skills for independence, developing identity and managing relationships.
Youth Outreach
Outreach services are designed to meet the individual needs of each youth. Services can be provided in office, in the community, at school or through group activities and programs. Emotional support, independence planning for transition to adulthood, family support, life skills training, self development as well as connection to community and resources are all provided through this program. Sources Oceanside Resource Centre also hosts the Federation of Children and Youth in Care Network group for the area. Community referrals are accepted for this program.
Parent-Teen Mediation
Support to youth and their parents on challenges impacting the parent-teen relationship. Services provide impartial mediation to youth and parents where there is conflict to reduce the risk of youth leaving the family home or working towards reunification following family breakdown. Community referrals are accepted for this program.
Cost: All youth services are provided free of charge.
Referrals: Community referrals are accepted from youth, parents, physicians, school personnel and other community professionals. Referrals can be made by phone, fax or email.
All youth service programs are funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
