what is foundry
Foundry South Surrey-White Rock is a free youth centre that is being developed to serve young people ages 12 – 24 seeking support for the following:
- Mental health & substance use services -early intervention & counselling
- Primary health care – doctors, nurses, and sexual health support
- Peer support – guidance from those with lived experiences
- Social services – employment, housing and family assistance
Designed as an integrated service model, Foundry is a province-wide initiative supported by the Government of BC that brings together health, wellness, and social services under one roof.
Where can youth receive support meanwhile?
While Foundry South Surrey-White Rock is under construction, youth and families can still access a wide range of services and support through Sources Community Resources Society and other community partners in the area.
Current options include:
Sources Counselling Services – Affordable, confidential counselling for youth and families.
Sources Youth Services – Programs that promote connection, skill-building, and support for young people.
Community-based health and wellness supports – Including peer support, mental health groups, and referral pathways to specialized care.
Other Foundry centres across B.C. – Youth can connect virtually or in-person at nearby locations until South Surrey opens.
Foundry BC app – A free app offering virtual counselling, peer support, goal setting tools, and wellness resources that youth can access anytime, anywhere.
If you or someone you know needs help right away, please visit Foundry BC’s website or download the Foundry BC app to connect with services and supports.
