Youth Services – Mental Health Child and Youth

Our Services

The mandate of the Youth Services programs is to provide services to children and youth and their families who have been identified as having struggles with behavioral, social, emotional and/or mental health.
Are you a child or youth that is struggling with mental health issues and would like more support? If you like to have fun and want to work towards improving your mental health, please contact your local MCFD Child and Youth Mental Health office to see if this program is right for you!
The Mental Health Child and Youth Outreach Program works in collaboration with MCFD clinicians to provide additional one-to-one support for several hours each week with the child/youth while in the community or at school. The outreach services are social, recreational or leisure activities that build on strengths and work toward positive changes.
Referrals may be for children and youth aged 6 to 18 from MCFD clinicians only as it is an MCFD funded contract.
