Care, Assistance, Resources, and Employment Support (CARES) for Temporary Foreign Workers
The CARES Program at SOURCES Community Resources Society provides dedicated support to Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) living and working in Surrey, White Rock, and Langley. We’re here to ensure TFWs have access to the resources, guidance, and community connections they need to live and work safely, confidently, and with dignity.

Get clear information about your rights at work, immigration status, and legal support options. - Healthcare Access
Support with applying for MSP, booking medical appointments, and connecting to health services. - Financial Support
Guidance on filing taxes, opening a bank account, and accessing financial aid. - English Classes
Enhance your English skills for everyday life and professional communication. - Emergency Support
Receive help during urgent situations like job loss, unsafe conditions, or housing crises. - Community Connection
Participate in cultural events, peer support groups, and recreational activities. - Local Resources
We’ll connect you to housing, food programs, education, legal aid, and more.
Who Is Eligible
You may be eligible for the CARES Program if you are:
✔ A migrant worker currently in British Columbia
✔ On a closed work permit under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program or the International Mobility Program
