Since 2010, Sources Imagination Library has inspired a love of reading in more than 1,600 children, delivering over 49,000 free books to young readers across Surrey and White Rock. With your support, we can continue bringing the joy of books to children in our community and help reach even more families. It costs just $3.85 per month to send a high-quality, age-appropriate book directly to a child’s home.

Our Services
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a powerful way to make lasting change in the lives of the children in the community. Our aim is to give every child in the community an equal chance for a brighter future.
We do this by providing every child with a free, home-delivered book every month from birth until they turn the age of five. Each book is carefully selected for high-quality, age-appropriateness that will bring the magic of reading to a child’s home.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library helps Canadian children gain the skills they need to start school ready to read. It encourages reading and bonding between the child and his/her family and caregivers. The single most important activity for building eventual success in reading is reading aloud to children and to start early. Learn more about this global book gifting program here.

Eligibility
Your child is eligible to receive free books through Sources’ Dolly Parton Imagination Library if they:
- Live in the South Surrey/White Rock community (south of 40 Avenue and west of 196 Street)
- Are between birth and 4 years of age
That’s all there is to it! If your child meets these two simple requirements, they can be registered to receive a free, age-appropriate book delivered to your home every month until their fifth birthday.

How to Register
Enrolling your child in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library is easy and completely free for eligible families in South Surrey and White Rock (south of 40th Ave and west of 196th St)
Simply complete the Imagination Library Registration Form and submit it to Sources. Once your application has been processed, your child will begin receiving a free, age-appropriate book delivered directly to your home each month, from birth until their fifth birthday.
