The remains of two hundred and fifteen children found in Kamloops. Many more may yet to be found. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn each and every precious life that was taken. #EveryChildMatters. Our thoughts are with the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation and other First Nations communities whose lives were, and continue to be, affected by the residential school system. Our deepest condolences to the families whose children were taken from them. Knowing that there is much work ahead for all of us to do, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, and Resurgence. The truths of our past must guide the future we build together.

Sandra Galbraith

Executive Director of Organizational Development

 

Sandra is the Executive Director of Organizational Development at SOURCES. She is from Winnipeg, Manitoba and holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in biology, and an MA in Professional Communication. Sandra has been with SOURCES for more than 20 years. Her long-time service is a product of her desire to work in a community-based and client-focused organization, while also having the ability to develop her skills and interests. She has touched a variety of service areas during her time at SOURCES, including Volunteer Programs, Employment Services, Community Living, Advocacy Services, and Senior Home Support. She has served in roles including Quality Improvement Coordinator, Privacy Officer, and Director of Program Development and in these roles acquired extensive experience with strategic planning, risk management, policy development, and accreditation.

When Sandra’s free time isn’t spent on home renovations, she loves to be outdoors. You will find her either hiking, biking, water-skiing, snowmobiling or playing with her two Australian Shepherds.
