Tanbir Sahota

Chief Financial Officer

Tanbir Sahota is the Chief Financial Officer at SOURCES. Tanbir grew up in Abbotsford where he enjoyed playing sports, being with family and friends and exploring the outdoors. Tanbir attended University of Calgary where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Finance, and later pursued his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in B.C. Throughout his professional experience, Tanbir has always worked in Accounting related roles, however, knew that a career in the non-profit industry was best for him. In 2014, Tanbir started as the Accounts Payable Coordinator, and enjoyed learning the day-to-day tasks at SOURCES. After finishing his CPA, he came back in 2019 as the Team Lead where he demonstrated his leadership abilities. He enjoys the collaboration amongst his peers and the work SOURCES does to help the community.

Outside of work, Tanbir enjoys golfing in the summer and playing ice hockey in the winter. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and playing with his new dog, Gryffin!
