COVID-19: SOURCES will continue to serve the most vulnerable members of our community. In order to do this while maintaining the safety, health and well-being of our staff and volunteers, our executive team has made the decision to suspend or modify in-person services until further notice. There are some exceptions. Programs deemed to be providing essential human services will continue to provide direct or modified services to clients.

Metro Vancouver Homeless Count: March 7-10

250 Volunteers still needed!

The Metro Vancouver Homeless Count is taking place inside shelters during the evening of March 7 and on the streets on March 8. Sources Newton Resource Centre is the hub for an extended count in Surrey on March 9 and 10.

A total of 250 qualified volunteers are needed for the Count in Surrey alone. While many volunteers have signed up, many more are needed.

Volunteers help gather valuable information used by governments, service providers, community groups, and funders so they can plan for appropriate programs to address homelessness and, in turn, measure our progress in reducing homelessness.
