POSITION: Infant Development Consultant – Permanent Part-Time
This position requires HSA Union membership
CURRENT LOCATION: Infant Development Program – Surrey
CURRENT HOURS: 24 hrs/wk
POSITION SUMMARY: This candidate will be responsible for screening and homevisiting families with children who are at risk for or diagnosed with developmental delays. He/she will also be responsible for running groups with children aged birth to three and parents as required, in the community and onsite.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Youth and Childcare or an equivalent as determined by Program Manager)
• Experience as an Infant Development Consultant preferred
• Training and experience in working with young children and families preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• A second language is desirable
• A cell phone, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for work
• Criminal record check required
START DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: $25.11-$29.25 per hour
BENEFITS:  As per benefits package
