Trauma Counselling Group: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Register for our Trauma Counselling Program’s eight-week online group on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) starting January 26, 2022. This program is for people who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual assault and/or relationship abuse.

This group and our services are open to people of all marginalized genders including women (cis and trans), two-spirit, trans, and non-binary people.

This is an educational, skill-building group open to any woman who has experienced abuse/neglect/violence at some point in their life. This group is for women who want tools to take control of their thoughts, emotions, and relationships by learning the principles and practices of DBT.

Topics will include:

  • Mindfulness
  • Distress Tolerance
  • Emotional Regulation
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness

Group information:

  • Where: Sessions take place online via Zoom
  • When: Wednesdays | 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. | January 26 to March 16, 2022
  • Cost: $50 per person
  • Stable internet connection and access to a computer or device is required (some assistance may be available)
