White Rock/South Surrey – August 17, 2026 – On the weekend of September 26–27, 2026, Canadians from across the nation will once again step forward to show their support for Veterans, active service members, and their families during the eighth annual Canadian Walk for Veterans.

Organized nationally by True Patriot Love Foundation, Canada’s foundation for the military community, this fundraising event brings together individuals and organizations across the country to walk in solidarity with those who serve and have served.

The 2026 theme, Mental Health: Stronger Together: “No One Heals Alone” highlights the power of community, compassion, and collective action. The walk provides a platform for all Canadians to learn more about the challenges faced by Veterans and their families, and to demonstrate their gratitude through raising awareness, fundraising, and gathering their local communities to walk in support. Participants will also have the opportunity to register for the Canadian Walk for Veterans Virtual Walk, so they walk when and where it works best for them.

Proceeds from the 2026 Canadian Walk for Veterans will support True Patriot Love Foundation’s national and community-based programs, including mental health services, physical rehabilitation, and transition support.

All registered participants will receive the official 2026 Canadian Walk for Veterans challenge coin, proudly crafted by Veteran-owned Sharkz Coins of Esquimalt, British Columbia.
