Fee for service Trauma Counselling at Women’s Place
For those that have the ability to pay for counselling support services, Sources Women’s Place is introducing fee for service trauma counselling.
Our Registered Clinical Counsellors have Master’s degree training and specialize in trauma counselling. We serve anyone who identifies as a woman. We see women as young as 16 years of age and over.
We offer fee for service individual counselling for:
- Stress and anxiety
- Historical physical and/or sexual abuse
- Sexual violence and assaults
- Current or historic interpersonal violence
- LGBTQ interpersonal violence
- Post-traumatic stress (PTSD)
The program is offered on a fee for service basis with a sliding scale starting at $85.00 per hour based on ability to pay. The fee range can be discussed with your individual counsellor. Some Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) offer coverage and support. There are other specialized funding programs that can be accessed as well including the Crime Victim’s Assistance Program (CVAP), WorkBC programs and others. Please discuss these possibilities at intake with your counsellor.
