Coping Skills Group – Summer 2020
Sources Trauma Counselling Program is offering a Coping Skills Group this summer for people impacted by interpersonal violence, historical abuse and sexual assault.
This Group is open to all people who identify as female including CIS, Transwomen, Two-Spirit & Non-Binary.
In this Group, facilitators offer helpful strategies for coping with the impacts of trauma. Learn:
- How to cope with everyday stressful situations
- Self-care strategies
- How to manage big emotions
- The benefits of mindfulness
- How to manage anger and boundaries
Dates: | Tuesdays, July 14 to August 25, 2020 |
Time: | 9:30-11:30 a.m. |
Place: | Remotely via Zoom. Internet connection, laptop and webcam required. |
Fee: | $30 for all sessions. Payable by credit card over the phone, cash or Interac by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). |
The Coping Skills Group will be facilitated by Alexandra Collins (MA, CCC), Charlotte Edwards (MC, CCC) and Audrey D’Souza (Counselling Psych Candidate).
