Semiahmoo Rotary Club’s Charity Golf Tournament to benefit DiscoverY

For the second year in a row, the Semiahmoo Rotary Club will be benefitting SOURCES at their 30th annual Charity Golf Tournament this June. This year, funds raised will go towards DiscoverY – SOURCES’ new youth mental health initiative.

Last year’s Tournament raised $61K for Sources’ Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. We  are hopeful that this year’s event in support of our free short-term counselling for peoples ages 15 to 25 will be another success.

Semiahmoo Rotary’s 30th Annual Charity Golf Tournament is being held at Morgan Creek Golf Course on June 20, 2019.

Registration is now open and we encourage you or your friends to come out and participate in this event. You can register to play as an individual or as a team of four if you wish.

“We want to support youth and young adults who are feeling stuck and lost, but do not fit into a traditional mental health or substance use lens,” said DiscoverY Coordinator Kristen Hamilton. “With the age of social media, many youth and young adults underestimate the challenges their peers face and feel isolated in their own experience. We want youth and young adults to feel heard, understood and seen. Sometimes we need someone to walk alongside us on this journey and explore how our inherent strengths can create a more clear vision of where we want to be in our lives.”

Over the years, the support of players and sponsors have provided more than $1.3 million to fund many vital community projects. Tournament proceeds are contributed to improve the lives of those in need.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING GENEROSITY AND FOR CHOOSING TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SOURCES THIS YEAR!
